This pandemic could have been anything. It could have been a bio-weaponry disaster or nuclear disaster or weather disaster or food disaster. When this is over, we must change our national priorities from short term gain for a few to the long-term well-being of everyone.

Well, it seems that all cause mortality rates for this time of the year have shown no significant rise, anywhere that I can find. In fact in 24 countries in Europe they are actually lower than average. Very strange for a 'deadly pandemic'
