When the pandemic is over, I want the United States to treat every doctor and nurse who worked on this like the heroes that they are.

I hope so too, though I hope they recognize their value immediately and protect them. Remembering what happened with 911 first responders, let alone our homeless veterans, I feel it will be up to us to keep fighting for them unless Bernie’s in charge. vox.com/2019/7/12/20691710/c…

...and we should trust them. Like when they say get your kids vaccinated.

Nah, pinning medals cost nothing. Nurses having better pay and working conditions, that'd be a thing.

Adding to this, we should all have universal health insurance (not dependant on a job), UBI, mandatory sick leave policy, allow more doctor's by removing the bottle neck lobbyists have created, and increase pay for all other essential workers.

I treat everyone who does their job well, with respect. That’s all they’ll get from me. Y’all the ones saying the oath and shit. It’s like when we thank everyone in the military, some of em was sitting at a hr desk. You don’t even know who’s on the “front line”.

Any healthcare worker really, hospitals are a big machine that require so many people to operate smoothly.
