I do not understand how a one- time payment of $1200 is going to be enough. It’s not just whether or not the virus will be kept at bay; it’s whether or not despair will be kept at bay. Putting tens of millions of people at risk for such intense anxiety is a recipe for disaster.

They actually seem to be counting on it, don't they? They're clearly not on the side of the American people at all, and they're putting a strangle hold on us to be sure we don't get the idea that we have the power to end their tyranny. It's becoming clear now to everyone.

The protections for those who are laid off, the extra $600 for four months that Bernie fought for, & help to small businesses to stay afloat are significant & had unanimous consent. There’s more if we don’t stop reading at $1200. Please emphasize these too. 96-0 is a glad moment.

I have no idea what they are thinking. We have lost our ability to make money and take care of our families. We need OUR money to go back to THE PEOPLE.

Don’t despair. It’s going to be ok. Let’s not get ahead of ourselves and start freaking out. People, government cannot do everything for everybody. And are you aware of the crap Dems tried to cram into the relief bill? It’s cynical and sickening.

You of all people should know their anxiety is their own. Nobody else owns your thoughts and feelings.

Desperate people, do desperate things. We are all safer via the virus and social unrest by giving The People a UBI for the next several months. Other countries are already doing this.

What would you do? Suggest the best plan, maybe they’ll listen!
