I do not understand how a one- time payment of $1200 is going to be enough. It’s not just whether or not the virus will be kept at bay; it’s whether or not despair will be kept at bay. Putting tens of millions of people at risk for such intense anxiety is a recipe for disaster.

It isn't meant to be a one time payment. You can see that in some of the interviews they want to be debated so it doesn't become a permanent entitlement. The Rs don't want a blanket solution.

its the tax payers money and should be given back to all the tax payers at a time like this. It should not have limits imposed on it. Its simply not Congresses money, it is the american peoples money.
