I understand Trump’s consciousness. Not news to anyone. But what about the people around him? Has no one been begging, demanding that he use his power over the last few weeks? Is their obsession with not disturbing private industry so great that they’re willing to let people die?

I'm not sure I agree that surrendering our economy and our freedom to foreign imperialism is better because it could end up resulting in even more suffering and death. But I'm really glad that there are two sides to this conversation.

Yes, their obsession with protecting the donor class is that strong. It is their world. They fought to enter the ruling class and they fight to protect it.

That's the part that gets me. But it reminds me of one of your books where you say that we can't guarantee another Hitler won't be born, but that he won't have those around him that allow him to rise to power or something along those lines. Might be in Illuminata
