Corporate conglomeration does NOT empower the private sector for anyone except the few who then become economic overlords of the many. It actually makes it harder, not easier, for small businesses and entrepreneurial enterprises to flourish.

It’s when huge industries are so powerful they’re basically monopolies.Their power makes it harder for little guys to get in. Government should keep them in their appropriate lane, not just serve their financial interests - which they do now because of all the money in politics.
