I used this image from the Titanic a couple of days ago and a writer hates to repeat herself, but it bears repeating: what we’re going through now is the upper class passengers trying to lock in the people in steerage so that only they could get the available lifeboats.

sad but true. Survival instinct over rides altruism but not 4 everyone. Fed gov is now pushing to get us all back to 'normal' work work work. No checks for us, just for 4 the corps like last time... it will trickle down, just wait they say.

The metaphor is tragically real.

Hate to break it to you but you’re in the group that is getting in the lifeboats.

Thank you, Marianne!! This is exactly the sentiment I keep thinking about. Of course the super wealthy are willing to risk letting the virus run it's course. They have the access and means to still protect themselves.

I couldn't agree more.

Marianne, will you stand with us as we #GeneralStrike to take on Wall Street and trump? We have decided: we are #NotDyingForWallStreet and neither are those they deem invaluable to our society.

Don’t worry abt the “repeating”. To blind us certain lies have been repeated to us for too long & certain acts as well. To get out, we must repeat THE TRUTH to ourselves & to all of us. With no stop until we get out. Along with prayer, we should not stop.
