Democrats should not be standing for “a little bit of help.” We should be standing for fundamental change: All college loan debt removed. $2000 immediately to everyone, for every month while this lasts. We don’t ask for too much; we ask for too little.

I went to a state college. Might have chosen a private university if I knew someone else would've paid for it.
It’s going to be too late! Do they want riots?

Yes!!! Hold those pathetic working class redneck dolts hostage!!! Great call and very American! Never let a crisis go to waste.

The UK now seems to be following Denmark with ongoing economic support to keep company workers employed, but still lacks support for self-employed workers. And in the US....nothing so far.

I'm sorry, I'm poor with a mountain of student loan debt, but that's a rediculos plan that will screw us all in the long run. Where do you think that $ comes from? Magic unicorns? WE have to pay for any stimulus plan passed!

People shouldn’t be totally forgiven there college loans. You choose your BA in Eastern Sumerian Pottery, you choose to go to the Phish concerts, you can pay your debts or go bankrupt (that does need to be an option).

I didn't work for decades to give my money away to pay the debt that someone else incurred. Let them pay their own debts.

i would love that. that'd end up about 25k in the green for me, and i'm fortunate enough that i'm not hit by the crisis at all. Seeing how both sides keep squabbling back and forth with these ridiculous packages, i don't see anything getting done anymore. Losing faith on that one
How about 10,000 to everyone, and free car washes on top. Why stop there ?
Wrong, both sides need to give & compromise partisanship needs to end for this
