European countries like Denmark & Germany having a much more sophisticated, enlightened economic conversation than we are. We’re led by political dinosaurs trying to figure out how best to shore up capitalism-as-usual, when what we need is the will & imagination to reinvent it.

Was just on the phone w/my MIL. She’s fanatically right-wing, but said the 1st nice thing I’ve ever heard her say re Dems: “I think they’re trying harder to help people.” & she has definitely turned on DJT. There’s an opening with those getting quality news. My sis? Not so much.
