Remember the part in the Titanic when upper class passengers locked the doors so lower class passengers couldn’t make it out and only rich people had a chance to survive? The point of America is for things to not be that way. google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com…

I agree with Mr. Reich 100% ... people need help ... not corporations ... It's still the 1980 trickle down mentality ... but it doesn't work, especially in this set of circumstances ... People First!

This is the craziness that is leading this country right now. The life jackets and the boats are only for the rich. This cannot and will not restore this country to wholeness. The only way to heal is to care for the American people regardless of their income and status! #UsNotMe

With all due respect ma'am. The point of America was exactly for things to be this way. You are 100 years too early for us.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I lost the little hope I had in the Democrats to stand up for our rights. The only one I trust to get us through this is Bernie and his movement #NotMeUs

Walk away from the rich corrupt Democratic Party
It wasn't the First Class passengers who locked the gates. It was the crew, particularly the pursers and stewarding staff. Read "A Night To Remember" by Walter Lord. Although published over 60 years ago it remains the most authoritative book about that fateful night.
