Trump said we need to bail out big companies because otherwise it will be too hard for them to start up again later. No. Our approach should be the opposite. We should be bailing out individuals, not big companies. Now more than ever we need bottom up, not trickle down economics.

As to helping companies, the ones the GOP wants to help don't need it. The smaller ones do. But they aren't big political donors. Again: stimulate demand, companies will increase supply and hire more people. If there isn't a company, one will start up or restart to meet demand.

I hope Americans finally realize how much the dems hate them. I’m sure they would’ve passed a bailout for noncitizens

Absolutely. Nations should be covering individuals wages. That’s the whole issue isn’t it?!?! People not working and not getting a pay check

And what jobs will these individuals go back to when this is over? Think it through

Why don’t we allow those companies to break apart and collapse so people can actually participate in capitalism? Rhetorical question I know we only practice socialism for companies 😆

I know you don't believe what you just posted. People work for corporations. If you believe in power to the people, then you want to support corporations.

Sing it louder, Sister, so the people in the back (and especially front) of the room can hear. I honestly don't care if we can never fly again because Boeing goes out of business...

As Robert Reich points out, corporations can take out rock bottom % loans using their assets for collateral. They don't need to get the money from the gov. All of the relief in the currently debated bill should go to individuals, NOT corporations or Trump, himself!!!
Exactly Marianne. Your assessments are spot on. We need Bernie Sanders for President not the DNC's puppet Biden!
