Trump said we need to bail out big companies because otherwise it will be too hard for them to start up again later. No. Our approach should be the opposite. We should be bailing out individuals, not big companies. Now more than ever we need bottom up, not trickle down economics.

None of the companies they’re talking about bailing out need a bail out. Even the president admitted the 2017 tax cut gave them a cushion. It’s the people who work for them who have no cushion and need the bail out.

Those jobs exist because middle class people buy the goods or services they provide/produce.

I own a small business. Very small- I have 1 full-time employee who I pay very well. She doesn't owe me a "thank you". I'm not doing her a favor.
What the heck are you talking about? We know from experience of past bailouts that companies do not pass the funds on to their employees. Most buy back their own stocks. "at a later point" after people may have been F'd & the Gov will "forget". PEOPLE need the help directly NOW!
