Why is the president meeting with captains of industry to ask what they need in order to get through this, but not meeting with average American workers to find out what they need? The paternalism and elitism that got us into this ditch is not what will get us out of it.

This only puts a stranglehold on the consumers. They aren't going to have money to buy the tickets to fly. It's pointless as people are now in deficit because they lost their job.

They employ 1/2 of America's work force. He has also met with small businesses that employ the other half. He's received feedback from governors and other legislators. Should he go door to door?

This is definitely puzzling. Trump comes across as though he has been living in a bubble... When a reporter mentioned the frustration from the Doctors and Nurses due to lack of supplies... He responded by insinuating he hasn鈥檛 been hearing that. Hasn鈥檛 been hearing that? Huh?

Maybe because those captains of industry employ a lot of people that could be out of work. And some of those captains of industry have really stepped up and are doing all sorts of things to help with this pandemic.Let's not demonize them so quickly.
