I’m not anti-capitalist; it has done a lot of good for the world. But unbridled capitalism, untethered to ethical considerations, has done great damage too. It helped create the problem and it is not the answer now. This isn’t about profit for anyone; it’s only about saving lives

Capitalism is incompatible with democracy. It's more akin to neo-feudalism. It's irredeemable. The only way forward is socialism or barbarism.

That’s why it worked until Reagan started deregulation and every single administration since has continued that practice at greater and greater levels!

You are wrong. Capitalism is the problem. Countries have been establishing more Republic Governments over the last 400 years that have made people's lives better. Not capitalism.

Capitalism did literally nothing to cause this pandemic.

Love you Marianne! Watched you live, but capitalism is what will create new innovation and ways to deal with this, not a bigger government.

What you call "unbridled capitalism" I call crony capitalism: government manipulating capitalism for its own or primary benefit leaving the middle and lower classes to fight over the scraps and let the useful idiots call it "unbridled".
