I agree with everything @i_am_joli_anne. Great thread. I know @marwilliamson would disapprove but change never happens by us toeing the party line. We need to dismantle the party system. And we need to dismantle the economic system too. And we need a leader to help us do it!

In November, we all write in Bernie. Yes, this means we just got 4 more years of trump and we need to make our peace with that now. There are millions of @BernieSanders supporters who absolutely refuse to vote biden because of the “unfairness”. 1/ #NotMeUs #Bernie2020

You didn’t Marianne. That’s why we stood by you. That’s why we did all we could to support you. But falling in line in November & supporting democrats ONLY bc they’re democrats is towing the party line. They win (again) & people lose (again). That’s not democracy.

I’m not voting for same old, same old. I fell in line last time and worked so hard on Hillary’s campaign. I’m not making that mistake again. We’re just prolonging our own agony.

Agreed. Just as #coronavirus brought the whole world to a standstill, a new political system in the states is also possible. Our progressive leaders simply need to be bold enough & brave enough to inact it.
