Until we proactively wage peace, there will be danger. Until we proactively heal the earth, there will be danger. Until we proactively care for each other, there will be danger. Perhaps it all seemed too theoretical before. Now, does the word “danger” seem real enough...?
Oh, but I do think you have enormous power to inform and inspire people to do the good work of reforming themselves. And yes, followers of your work who were inspired by your involvement in the Sanders campaign, from its very beginnings, are reassured by your endorsement...
... but trying to force other grown men and women to reverse their public endorsement of another political candidate is a complete waste of time.
Public figures don't make consequential statements like that in without thought and in some cases prayer.
We should respect that.
