An unholy alliance of capitalism without a conscience & government without a soul has led us to the precipice. This crisis though painful is an important wake-up call. Ethics not greed must be the light that guides us & humanitarian not economic principle must be our bottom line.

At this moment, given the pandemic, politicians who still prioritize the health ins. industry's profits instead of people's lives, are a literal danger to society. How many uninsured people will visit a hospital after they see these prices? And the number of uninsured will rise.

Even the Nordic Model of Capitalism (which a lot of people have confused for socialism) relies on outsourcing sweatshop labor and environmental exploitation to developing countries.
