Yes, he did say that. Yet his policies as president have been totally in contradiction to that kind of viewpoint.

His signature economic policy was the 2017 $2 trillion tax cut in which $.83 of every dollar went to the richest corporations & individuals. While the middle class part of it was good, 83% of it only served the very wealthiest and in no way trickles down. That’s how he operates.

He is like someone who thinks they should treat the serfs a little better. He gives a little bit with his left hand while with his right hand he increasingly does things that make it harder and harder for the average American.

Could you tell us specifically compared to trump what you would do differently? And if you file 1040s you might know that the actual amount of tax poor and middle class people pay is any 5-10% of all tax revenue.
