Amazing to watch politicians wake up - like it’s some huge revelation - that maybe we shouldn’t have sold out American manufacturing over the years for quick corporate bucks after all. Turns out doing right by the American worker would’ve been the smart thing after all, huh guys?

I've been watching Americans posting here that China stole our jobs & got rich off the backs of our workers. In fact right above your post in my timeline.

Um, Obama and Biden saved American manufacturing because they knew in times of crisis or not, how important they have ALWAYS been to the vitality of America. Maybe this will make them focus education more on skilled trades to prepare for the future.

Said it for years and years....thought they were crazy when they told me I would have to manufacture my product over seas or I wouldn't make it. I said NO....I wanted it made here. They thought I was crazy ...now we see why I stood on principles!

In the seventies I read a book MEGATRENDS which pitched America becoming a service economy. Well, that didn’t sit right with me. Surprising how many people bought into it and here we are. I’m no rocket scientist, but even I saw downside - this and labor decline. Fifty years
