FDR didn’t just pull us out of the Depression. He fundamentally altered economic/banking/political rules so it wouldn’t happen again. Several decades ago we started dismantling some of the very protections that FDR created, so crony capitalists could party more. And here we are.

There will be plenty of time for recriminations and blame later... lets try to stay positive through the crisis shall we?

We are actually here, because a lot of people eat batshit soup & endangered critters. Also, the Chinese government placed doctors & reporters in labor camps for announcing the early stages of the coronavirus. Stop acting like China did an excellent job with the virus.

His revolution was a revolution in the sense of a turn, moving society in a new direction.

FDR did not come up with the new deal and he was strongly opposed its reforms. He felt a revolution was coming from the American people who were asking for these reforms. The eating away of the new deal is largely due to McCarthyism and gullible boomers.

Run for Congress. I think you would be great there.

I would disagree. Many of FDR's policies lead the US to another recession known as the "Roosevelt Recession" or the "Depression within the Depression". It was WWII and the economic growth during that time that eventually got us out of the Great Depression.

Actually, there's many well respected economists that argue FDR in fact dragged out the great depression with the new deal.
