FDR didn’t just pull us out of the Depression. He fundamentally altered economic/banking/political rules so it wouldn’t happen again. Several decades ago we started dismantling some of the very protections that FDR created, so crony capitalists could party more. And here we are.

So funny, you want both their power and their money, you can’t have both. Money breeds power and power breeds money, shifting it all to the government would be a complete disaster.
WWII pulled us out of the depression. FDR tried and was proâctive but the economy was still stuck

MARIANNE- what FDR did was enact SS which thew govt used our money as a slush fund, Alphabet soup programs that were stopped due high cost and when WW II came along, only then was our economy saved
Thank you for crossing the line you are crossing. You are appreciated.

Crony capitalists thrive off of Big Government; few men did more to bring that parasite to 'America'. And by all indications his policies are (mainly) the reason "the" Depression was so bad. What in particular do you think was "dismantled" that was protecting us from the crooks?
