It’s absurd they didn’t postpone all the primaries today given that everyone has been urged to stay home. People had to choose between participating in their democracy, and their safety and the safety of others. @TomPerez you could have made the request and it would’ve mattered.

biden and perez are happy to kill off their own base to win primaries that they’ll win anyways if they postpone them to be 100% mail in. they’re actually more reckless than trump.

Also need to research if @TomPerez making request to State Govs and Secy's of State would have had an impact on their decisions. Can't jump on the band wagon til I know what the wagon is carrying, and know the "rules of the road" for deciding timing on voting in states.

Since @jbest8907 suggested that @TomPerez threatened to "penalize" states that delayed their votes I did a simple Google search and found this story: thehill.com/homenews/campaig… More coming.....
... the story states that "A DNC official said it’s possible that the states will be able to submit a waiver to dismiss the penalties. But any changes are at the discretion of the Rules and Bylaws Committee, which has not yet determined how to move forward." More coming...
... it does seem clear that Perez has a *preference* for implementing "safety measures" as opposed to delaying the vote, but it also states that there may be some "flexibility" on this issue. It will have to come under committee review. That means it is *not his decision alone*.

Having had my say, I'm not a huge fan of @TomPerez . Don't know him personally, just find him high strung, hard to watch in front of a crowd. Dude gets on my nerves. Sorry, Tom. Just speaking truth from *one little democrat*.
