Books we never read but always said we wanted to, poems we never took the time to digest, people we were too busy or too selfish to reach out to. Being forced to stay home means being forced to confront ourselves, and in that confrontation lies gift we would have never received.

I think that’s the thing to remember. As inconvenient or stressful as it might be for any of us, it’s nothing compared to the experience of those you mention. Particularly those who have no family around them.
