If you’re about to think “Oh no, I might not be able to get this or that at the grocery store,” take a moment to consider how US sanctions have effected people in Cuba, Iran & Venezuela. Millions of people for whom life has been made so hard. These are ways we can grow from this.

I hope one day we can live in harmony. How can we take responsibility for ourselves and help while not depleting ourselves nor making it hard on others... how can we live from a place of more than enough and be brave enough to radically and selflessly shift priorities.

You realize that the people live in dirt while their government lives like kings who control the market in those countries, right? Even if the US lifted its sanctions, the lives of the people wouldn't improve drastically because their government would just take more.
