Many people have asked me what it was like during the AIDS crisis. It was much like this. And also like during that crisis, this gives all of us an opportunity to determine who we really are. We can face this thing with fear, or we can face this thing with love. It’s our choice.

Ppl should read that chapter. It explains a lot about why you believe it's important for you to take your values into the political arena (not everyone agrees as to *how* but plenty agree as to *why*). It really moved me.
