Many people have asked me what it was like during the AIDS crisis. It was much like this. And also like during that crisis, this gives all of us an opportunity to determine who we really are. We can face this thing with fear, or we can face this thing with love. It’s our choice.

You're not a time traveler. Many of us remember what it was like during the AIDS crisis. It was not much like this. we were not able to determine "who we are" from it. slow down.

There was a lot of unfounded fear about HIV at the start and people panicked. Highlights the importance of informing the public. Don't live in fear but take this seriously and help each other. Look out for your neighbors, avoid lge groups, have empathy for those less fortunate
