I heard Deepak Chopra say to believe the diagnosis but not the prognosis. Have the emotional discipline to take the virus seriously and act accordingly, but avoid the panic that comes from taking projected numbers of deaths too seriously. Nobody really knows. And miracles happen.

Good advice, we should take the precautions very seriously, but have faith that your body is strong. The elderly & those that are compromised, should be our concern & need extra TLC, no & always. 🕊💜🕊

I like you, but stop being foolish. "Nobody really knows" in this context is destructively handwaving at calculus, particularly. Try this instead: "Exponential Growth and Epidemics," on how we understand the spread of disease. youtube.com/watch?v=Kas0tIxD…

I'd like a vaccine to happen. and before that I'd like testing kits that actually work to happen.

Isn’t he vague and superfluous ! Follow basic hygiene norms. Wash your hands, avoid touching face, if there are symptoms of cough and flu stay at home, if breathlessness too- consult a doctor or hospital -and get tested-follow medical advice, no need for panicking.

Sounds like not all who get it are dying. But definitely some are dying. It is serious enough to be careful and to keep ourselves as healthy as possible. That’s it. Nothing complicated. Maybe the doctors know more in China, but that’s as far as we know.
