Things will be good on the other side of this. The pendulum’s going to swing; people will have been awakened to the need for a competent govt that’s active on behalf of protecting its citizens. Govt will no longer be allowed to put corporate profits before the public good. I hope

Imagine if #DemocraticSocialism had been in place a year or two before the #CoronavirusOutbreak. There would’ve been more efficiency, less fear, paid sick leave, and complete transparency at every stage. Can’t we make #Bernie retroactive? #TeamMarianne

I do not understand, with past experiences with other viruses, that govt wasn’t better prepared, that processes weren’t already in place, to address such a thing.

Big Pharma has far too much power in politics. If that issue is not addressed, it will only get worse.

Biden will make people feel good because he's not Trump, but that's about it. I wouldn't expect any fundamental changes if he becomes president. Once the virus crisis is over, we'll go back to same old, same old. Now is the time for the rest of the primary voters to wake up.

I believe what you’re saying &recognize fundamental positive shifts that will hopefully occur, changing minds abt the kind of govt that works for ppl. IMT, how do we pay rents/mortgages/bills, buy food, care for kids at home & vulnerable elderly—w/ no money & economy crashing?
