Far too long, too many people have been voting only their own economic good. In the final analysis there’s no public issue that won’t make its way to your private door. Only by caring for others do we ultimately care for ourselves. This is a teachable moment if we allow it to be.

If ever there were a voice which should be heard in the public sphere, especially at this time of national crisis, it is Marianne Williamson's. She promotes values, wisdom and messages which teach us to live out our humanity in a much fuller, more connected way. Bring it, sister!

A vote should express one's assessment of the best person to serve the most people under the jurisdiction of the office. Use your freedom to serve yourself and your public. Use your vote to serve the nation. Votes are what citizens are armed with, to be fired against our enemies.

Free market capitalism and private charity are the best way to care for others. State violence is never going to work as well and be as fulfilling as charity.
