The coronavirus is a wake-up call. In many ways we should see this as a warning. On other issues too - the environment, war and peace, food, children, poverty - our allowing market forces to take precedence over care for the common good is leaving us vulnerable to disaster.

The virus is breaking down barriers & allowing the selfish pursuit of capitalism to crash into a wall of greed. Climate Change is equally existential but humans are incapable of responding to its steady threat. The virus will do. Time to care, adapt & think as one. #GreenNewDeal
