My daughter lives in London and she was showing me today how the UK is handling the coronavirus. Looking at that and the responses of other countries too, one thing is clear: in an age of health emergencies, we need at the very least a semi-socialized system of medicine.

I would prefer a public option coupled with a competent president, but in the absence of a competent president you bet we need Medicare for All.

public option means private insurance will dump the expensive patients onto public option which will increase the cost of public option. i just don't understand why people resist this information.

Thing is, we can't guarantee we won't have incompetent presidents in the future. Better to have the thing that protects us even With one, than to cross our fingers we'll have a competent one and not need it.

No I’m not! I saw Biden’s talk today and I also saw Bernie’s. Bernie by far has the plan we most need right now. Hands down.
