Value of age is it gives you visceral understanding that the journey never ends, the ultimate answer is never “No”, and new opportunities are endlessly creating themselves. Grief and loss at times are simply part of the process.

Tell people to “fall in line”?! That’s the last thing I would ever tell anyone. Let the democratic process be the democratic process! Once the nominee is determined, there will be plenty of time for all of us to fall in line.

There’s no “at least be open” here. If Joe is the nominee, I’ll be full on in support. But we’re not at that moment yet, and I honor both Bernie and his many supporters during what is for them a very disappointing moment. Let everyone have time to breathe in what’s happening.
