Tens of millions of young people don’t know how they’re going to pay off college loans or get healthcare, whether the economy will support their starting families & making their dreams come true, or if the planet will even support their survival. Their grief tonight is reasonable

We shouldn’t just be thinking “Who can beat Trump?” - because no one can really know the answer. We should be thinking “Who can help those young people?” - and that’s who can beat Trump.

Marianne, that is exactly how things were when I got out of college in the 70's (except back then we also had gasoline shortages). Think back, we're the same age.

The pressures young people face today pale in comparison to what young people faced throughout history (the Civil War battlefield, trenches of WW1, etc...). Get a grip.

Stop infantalizing them. These "tens of millions of young people" need to go get one of the millions of jobs that are available and then go pay off their own debts and purchase health insurance. Like the rest of us. #GrowUp.
