For those who are worried about the “socialist” label, Bernie is referring to the likes of European countries some of whom have more vibrant entrepreneurial capitalist opportunities than we do. But it’s not a healthy capitalism when so many people have no real access to capital.

You know that. I know that. But FEAR RULES LOGIC. Too many have grown up TERRIFIED OF COMMUNISM and NUCLEAR ANNIHILATION. To link any social policy to communism in any way can be used as a powerful tool against positive social change. Socialism does that. We need new terminology.

Other options to democratic 'socialism' - friendism - friend-focus - friend-politic - friendly capitalism Friends -care -listen -respect, -value -support+unite Friendly capitalism allows 4 prvte profit and sharing. Greedy capitalism-the only one we know-takes but doesn't share

Bernie said he's in favor of forcing corporate boards to be comprised of 20 percent workers. What European country requires this or similar edicts? I liked 2016 Bernie a lot more than I like 2020 Bernie.

They dont care. Its disingenuous. The establishment is simply afraid that the left will wrestle power away from the moderates one day and actually deliver something for the electorate and prove their impotence

Capitalism isn't healthy, period. It will not be the system that gets us to solve the housing crisis because it's what keeps the market going. It's never going to fix climate change. Capitalist concentrates power in the hands of few: it is inherently anti democratic.

Right. No spending power, which leads to feudalism.

I've been self employed for 16 yrs. I love it but I haven't really been able to grow my biz since I can't hire the right people cuz I can't afford to pay health ins (for them or me). So, my biz has been plateaued for years. I could accomplish so much more if that wasn't an issue.
