For those who are worried about the “socialist” label, Bernie is referring to the likes of European countries some of whom have more vibrant entrepreneurial capitalist opportunities than we do. But it’s not a healthy capitalism when so many people have no real access to capital.

The problem with modern politics is that the internal growth approach is based on capitalism, regardless of internal ideals.

Bernie is the centrist. Bernie is moderate. Bernie is the safe choice. Biden is risky.

If he’s referring to the European countries than he should call himself a Social Democrat, seeing as those countries aren’t socialist.

There’s two issues. One. His policy doesn’t actually align with the democratic socialist policies of the European countries that are always referenced like Denmark. Two. Socialism is only favored by 18% nationally. If Bernie gets the nom it’s a referendum on socialism, that loses

I'm scared of the socialist label, not because socialism is bad (socialism is actually pretty good) but because the average American doesn't share that belief. Americans are en masse scared of anything labeled "socialism" to their own detriment.
