For those who are worried about the “socialist” label, Bernie is referring to the likes of European countries some of whom have more vibrant entrepreneurial capitalist opportunities than we do. But it’s not a healthy capitalism when so many people have no real access to capital.

Bernie has no support from senators. He's built no coalition. Having rallies is not an effective means to communicate socialist ideas. He should have figured that out in the last 40 years.

The US Constitution is not socialist. If you want socialism, be honest, and do it legally via a Constitutional amendment rather than trying to ram it down out throats.

Please, Marianne. He's "evolved" into a "Denmark socialist" but at heart, socialism is what makes Bernie Sanders get up in the morning and "fight the power". A close look at his biography makes that clear to me. But you do make a very fair point about health care. 💙❤️🇺🇸💞
Your a smart righteous woman! God bless you Marianne!

I wish Bernie had made this point more clearly. The fact that MSM was able to turn it into being about Castro, misrepresenting him and alienating FLA voters, so maddening.

The problem is that no matter what it means, the label itself is toxic. Embracing it is going to get him slaughtered by Trump, if he makes it past Biden.

People are afraid socialism is like Putin. It’s the same as saying communism for many in this country. Fear caused by US and candidates that can’t clarify SIMPLY the difference between democratic socialism and Putin socialism. Think Russia, then Sweden.
