The world isn’t a zero-sum game. It’s not as though there are only so many pieces of the pie & if I give one to you then there will be less for me. It’s actually the opposite: what we give ultimately multiplies & what we withhold from others will ultimately be withheld from us.

Evolution programmed us with an instinct for scarcity mindset. It worked to bring us here, because we were actually on the verge of starvation for most of history. But, as with it’s brother tribalism, we now have an essential moral obligation to consciously abolish this mentality

Oh I definitely agree. I think the fundamental determinant of human progress is the degree to which we can trust each other. We didn’t come from the strongest apes or even the smartest, but the ones that learned how best to cooperate. We have to learn our way past our past.
