People with corona symptoms having to go back to work - many who handle our food btw- because we have no federally mandated sick leave. Nor do we have adequate preparedness. This is what happens when private short term profit is placed before public investment in the common good.

So true. For many years I worked for a construction company that had no sick days at. U had to use your 10 "Vacation" Days. My Step-Daughter lost her job since she "took too many days" caring for her sick children. If Dickens were alive he'd be writing about us!

Many folks will have a difficult time trying to bounce back from this. All of it unnecessary suffering. This administration has spent 4 years trying to undue Obama’s policy’s even the multi country anti-pandemic programs. And we haven’t even considered what could hit us next.
