People with corona symptoms having to go back to work - many who handle our food btw- because we have no federally mandated sick leave. Nor do we have adequate preparedness. This is what happens when private short term profit is placed before public investment in the common good.

This seems like an odd jab at the US work system when, being a cook, I have literally never been at any restaurant job that wasnt ok with taking sick days when you're sick. And that is just in regards to normal illnesses. This tweet just seems dumb honestly

It is state law in California for a person with a fever and coughing to handle food. Check out your state and county laws. But not against the law for a person showing symptoms to show up in public, infecting as they are the dollars
