There’s a lot of talk about healing America now. But you can’t heal a country if you refuse to name its wounds. Someone who refuses to name them is not the one who can heal them.

The name is fear and hatred. I have never seen my country in such disarray. Sometimes I think it has to fall apart before it can come back together. Hopefully 2020 will bring a change if we are able to bring new leadership.

I had a paper cut once. Lasted a year. Went to the doc and he said all I had to do was name it and it would heal. He was right. It was gone in less than a week after thst. I named him jimmy. #neverforget
