There’s a lot of talk about healing America now. But you can’t heal a country if you refuse to name its wounds. Someone who refuses to name them is not the one who can heal them.

Reminds me of when we had a flood at home & insurance wanted us to just repaint the ceiling to cover the stains. We insisted they remove & replace it since there would be mold growing. We are witnessing what has been growing here & can't just cover it up & try to make it pretty.
