The point isn’t just to elect a woman per se as important as that is. The most important thing is a woman’s primary concerns: to protect children- which must mean everyone’s child & not just our own; and take care of our home- which today means the home we share, or earth itself.

Do you have something against @TulsiGabbard? I don't have no idea was wrong with you Marriane but ignoring the most peaceful, bravest and honorable veteran and woman of color says a lot about you. I like you but this lack of support makes you look so bad 🤨

Wow. This is crazy sexist and tone-deaf. Shouldn't protecting children and the planet earth be a man's concern as well?

Not sexist. Not tone deaf. You just don’t like it! And that’s fine. I write books and things. I say what I believe. Tough to do in today’s environment, but I hang in.

What century do you live in? This is the same patriarchal garbage women have been told for eons. Protecting children is not just a woman’s primary concern. This is a concern for all people in civilized society, regardless of gender. The 1950’s called—it wants its misogyny back.

Some things have been around for eons because they are classic and eternal truths. In any advanced mammalian species that survives and thrives, it’s the fierce behavior of adult females that mainly protects cubs when they’re in danger. Human beings need more of that.

This is called maternal feminism. Unfortunately corporate feminism is all many folks know. Maternal/child concerns were marginalised in the 50s and still are. MW’s take is not about keeping us in the kitchen, it’s about shifting the centre of gravity re our values as a collective
