Healing, whether of a nation or an individual, is not about pouring pink paint over the wound and pretending it doesn’t exist. It means naming things, bringing them to the surface to be consciously released. It’s done consciously & wisely, or happens subconsciously & chaotically.

I am noticing that I don't get MW Tweets on a regular basis, or at least I don't notice them unless @Tam_Doucette_ *Likes them. That makes me wonder if MW has put me on "mute". I know I'm not blocked but as I understand "mute" it's not known to the muted one, just the acct owner.

That said... this statement leaves me with a lot to think about. Like... with so much wounding going on all at once rt now, which thing do we bring to the surface first? I think *fate plays a hand in making those choices.

People don't want to hear the truth. The number of people I speak with who don't want to hear about politics is quite large but then they want to have a voice in the political process. Doesn't work that way.
