A lot of misogyny is unconscious. Some of the most vicious misogeny is from women towards other women. One insidious form of it is “selective feminism” - a theoretical support of other women that really only applies to women that we like.

So, I should support a woman I don't like just because she's a woman? 🙄

It is choice of unconsciousness, we can choose to learn about oppression or choose to pretend like everything is ok. Misogyny I would argue is a part of history, an androcentric society has existed since biblical times, all we have to do is educate ourselves and understand equity

Is part of what ur referring to the fact that so many women demonized u right off the bat & jumped on the conspiracy theory bandwagon w/out giving u a fair hearing? Do u think it had to do with being a woman or the New Age stuff or running for Prez w/out a big movement behind u?

You mean the, "There should be a woman president, just not that woman," I heard constantly in 2016?

Confused. As a woman, am I meant to like ALL women?

every time a democratic woman fails she screams misogyny, we need a woman president they cry, but I think they only mean a democratic woman president, maybe if they ran one they had some good ideas it would be better, like freedom not socialism

For instance when you cheer for a rich white woman to become President but don't ever think about helping the millions of women living in poverty.
