A lot of misogyny is unconscious. Some of the most vicious misogeny is from women towards other women. One insidious form of it is “selective feminism” - a theoretical support of other women that really only applies to women that we like.

Sounds like your alternative is for women to support other women they don’t like, simply because they’re women?

I think of it as a kind of Stockholm Syndrome.
JFC...you’re not describing “selective feminism” which sounds like a meaningless made-up bullshit term; you’re just describing people evaluating other people on their merits instead of sex.

I see it all the time and it hurts. Women friends who bash the hell out of other women...selective feminism. It hurts.

Huh? That's a load of psychobabble I could have done without on a Friday. What the heck does this mean? The lovers out number the haters, can't we focus on that?

Yes. I witnessed and questioned a friend who sympathsized with Warren but in the same breath called out her loud mouth. Prefacing her comments with she's not sexist.

Focus on the teachings of ACIM, like you use to. You know that there are no differences in us. Politics has twisted, imo, your perception. Identity politics is not real & YOU know it, at least you use to. Others please don't @ me unless you have read all 1000 + pages of ACIM.
