A Constitutional amendment could abolish slavery but it couldn’t abolish racism. A Constitutional amendment could give women the right to vote but it couldn’t abolish misogyny. Symptoms can be legally remedied but their roots must be addressed at a deeper level: within ourselves.

You are so right. Sadly bigotry/racism of a sort are buried in the roots of hate in ancestors. Each generation, through a conscious effort, must instill the beliefs in Thier children and grandchildren to reject ALL programmed beliefs. Reject Generational hate through education!

I agree. The problems we see most clearly in the world are the things I believe we have the most power to change; some universal wisdom is orienting us to those problems because we ourselves are part of the solution (maybe because something in us is part of the problem).
