Deadass mad at you @america for whittling down a primary field with an lgbtq+ candidate, men and women of color, a warrior princess from outer space (❤️ you always bb @marwilliamson), and even fricken de blasio down to two white men in their 70s

@america didn’t do this. My experience led me to believe that if our politics wasn’t so filtered through political/media machinery, the people themselves could be trusted to make much wiser decisions than you might think. There’s a lot of wisdom out there; just so much confusion.

I don’t think you’re wrong! But maybe I’m just worried that, despite Americans’ being capable of such wise decisions, we keep finding ourselves amplifying those same voices we’ve been hearing for decades, and thus shutting out those perspectives we need to hear from most!

Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? - not unless it fits into a careful box of codes, laws and regulations. That includes raising bees, having chickens, growing a garden (with less than an acre...)Mother of 11, holistic, homeschooling, considering refugee status. GREAT?
