Tens of millions of Americans have no real hope of participating in a vibrant economy. They live each day to serve the economy; the economy does not serve them. They survive but they do not thrive. Healthcare and access to higher education could literally be a lifeline for them.

In the richest, most powerful democracy in the world there should not be so many economically desperate people. Low unemployment rates mask the deeper reality of almost 40 million people living in poverty. An incremental approach to fixing this is morally wrong. We can fix it now

Honest question: how will access to education without changing who controls the economy help people? If the capitalist class still has control, why would more higher education give people opportunity? People with degrees already have no opportunity. Workers need control first.

When 40% of Americans could not cover a $1,000 unexpected expenditure in the richest country in the world.... It is time for a fundamental pattern disruption.

This is very true, but the reality is food, housing & utilities are probably a greater worry for a larger majority than education or even healthcare will ever be. A very sad reality in the USA, that I believe is very under realized by most that are comfortable. #RepairAmerica

Everyone also has access to higher education. Start at a community college and then, if it's right, get a 4 year degree. There are scholarships/grants that go unused every year. BUT here's the kicker, if a you want them, you've got to get them. They don't just fall from the sky

I’m guessing that I speak for a lot of people when I say, it’s going to be hard to find the motivation to show up and vote or get excited for the 2020 election if our choices are Biden or Trump. No real change, just old policies that keep kicking the middle class in the face.

I will vote for Joe Biden if he is the nominee, but I feel as if Im putting a checkmark beside the system that created this despair. 😞
