Dana Bash said tonight that the moderate lane “organically” fell into place behind Biden today. No it did not. What happened was the result of a strategized, orchestrated plan to block someone deemed inconvenient to the political establishment.

Elite Republicans don’t respect democracy; elite Democrats don’t trust democracy. Real power in the hands of the people is a threat that neither of them can abide.

Uhh, no. Two candidates who had no path to victory dropped out and endorsed the person who was closest to them in values, and policy. Thats what happens. Grow up.

I wish people would stop using the word "establishment" in this context. It implies that Democratic voters are a mindless, amorphous bunch who cannot think for themselves and are easily manipulated. Like Republicans.

Marianne, I encourage you to expand your thinking on this. Instead of having a fear based perception, view it from a place of love. The moderate candidates chose to unite rather than distract others. Bernie will have to inevitably do the same.

💯 correct, but everyone also knew it was going to happen. Bernie had many opportunities to rally the progressives & earn their support. Not only did he fail at it, he pushed many away. He has no one to blame but himself.

Sanders made the mistake thinking he could win on his own. He shouldve reached out early to other anti establishment candidates like Yang and Tulsi and yes, even Warren to do what the moderates did by consolidating towards Biden. Instead he let his surrogates trash them all.

Oh please. It was DEMOCRACY. People voted for their preferred candidate. AND SANDERS WAS **NOT** THAT PERSON .
