I experienced a microcosm in my own campaign of what Bernie Sanders experienced yesterday: the pernicious ways they’ll use to get you off the stage when they find you inconvenient. I hope with all my heart that the American people will see through all this today.

For me "malicious" (with intent to harm) seems closer to what's hoppening.
